# Plan the whole week on one calendar

> Breakfast menu in the morning, lunch specials at noon, a campaign for one day only. Set it once and every screen follows the plan by itself.

## Content that changes with the clock

Each rule links a playlist to a time window. Pick every day, chosen days of the week or a single date, then set a start and end time. Quick presets cover weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons and evenings.

- Every day, specific days or one date
- Start and end time for each rule
- Presets for the common patterns

## One-off days without touching the routine

A festival weekend, a holiday sale, an opening. Add a rule for that date with a higher priority and it plays over the usual plan, then the regular week carries on as if nothing happened.

- Higher priority wins when rules overlap
- Low, normal and high presets
- The weekly plan stays as it was

## See what's playing now and what comes next

Look at the plan by day, week or month. The calendar marks what is playing right now, what comes up next and where one rule takes over from another, so there are no surprises on the screen.

- Day, week and month views
- Playing now and up next
- Overlaps spelled out in plain words

## On every screen in one step

When the plan is ready, send it to the screens that should follow it in one step: a single screen, a whole branch or every screen with the same tag. From then on they switch by themselves.

- One screen or a whole group at once
- Screens picked by branch or floor
- On screen within seconds

## How people use schedules

### Menus by time of day

Cafés and restaurants switch from breakfast to lunch to evening without anyone at the counter remembering to do it.

### Sales that start and end on time

Retailers launch a campaign in every store at the same moment and take it down the same way.

### Events on public screens

Municipalities put an event up in the days before it and let regular notices return afterwards.

### Class times on the wall

Gyms show the morning timetable in the morning and the evening one when the after-work crowd arrives.

## Set up a schedule

1. **Create a schedule**: Give it a name, such as one per branch, and open the calendar.
2. **Add rules**: For each rule pick a playlist, the days or date it applies to, a time window and a priority.
3. **Attach it to screens**: Assign the schedule to a screen or to a whole group by tag. From then on the screens switch by themselves.

## Questions about scheduling

### What happens when two rules overlap?

The rule with the higher priority plays during the overlap. If both have the same priority, the one that starts first plays.

### Can I schedule something for a single date?

Yes. A one-time rule plays only on the date you pick, and the rest of your weekly plan stays as it is.

### Does someone need to switch the screens over?

No. The screens follow the plan by themselves, so nobody has to press anything at the moment it switches. Any change you make to the plan reaches connected screens within seconds.

### Can different branches follow different plans?

Yes. Create a schedule for each branch, or for each type of screen, and attach each one to the screens it belongs to.
