What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. The site reads them back on later requests, to remember, for example, that you are signed in or which language you chose.

The cookies we use

Jonza uses only the cookies the site and the dashboard need to work. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so we don't ask for cookie consent. All of them are first-party cookies: set and read only by jonza.app.

  • Language: remembers the language you chose. Set for every visitor; kept for 1 year.
  • Sign-in: keeps you signed in. A random id given to this browser also protects your account by making sure a renewed session only goes back to the same browser. Scripts in the browser can't read these cookies; kept for 30 days, and the session cookies are deleted when you sign out.
  • Two-step verification: used only while you set up two-step verification; kept for 10 minutes.
  • Dashboard preferences: remember whether the sidebar is collapsed, how the device and media lists are shown and how many rows the lists show; kept for 1 year.

Other data stored in your browser

The dashboard keeps some preferences in your browser's local storage instead of cookies: your language, the last version you saw in the "What's new" window and your progress in the guided tours. It also caches the app's files in your browser so it opens faster. None of this is used for advertising or tracking.

Third-party services

Our pages load Cloudflare's Turnstile security check. The check runs on the sign-in, password reset and account settings forms, to block automated (bot) sign-ins. While it does, Cloudflare processes technical details such as your IP address and browser characteristics for that purpose.

Our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies when needed to protect the site from malicious traffic.

Our fonts are served from our own servers; no requests go to external services such as Google Fonts.

Managing cookies

You can see and delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the necessary cookies you won't be able to sign in to the dashboard, and your language will be worked out from your browser's language on each visit.
